About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide first-line HR support to employees and managers across the business
- Handle HR administration, recruitment, and onboarding activities
- Maintain accurate HR records and update HR systems
- Respond to employee and manager HR queries
- Prepare reports
- Coordinate recruitment activities
- Issue contracts
- Support new starters through onboarding
- Provide guidance on routine HR matters
- Support payroll processes
- Assist with HR projects and employee engagement initiatives
- Report to the HR Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar HR support role
- Good understanding of HR processes and UK employment law
- Confidence providing first-line HR guidance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Accurate handling of sensitive information
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent HR qualification and/or substantial HR experience across the employee lifecycle
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- CV and covering letter required for application
