About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Update educational materials related to the Sustainability Baseline
- Lead onboarding meetings with event teams
- Facilitate thematic plenary sessions
- Assess the implementation of CSR initiatives for each event
- Coordinate the annual assessment of selected events by an independent organization
- Update and improve the initiative tracking dashboard
- Organize debriefing sessions and support continuous improvement
- Propose enhancements to the Sustainability Baseline
- Update CSR reporting templates
- Support events in preparing their CSR reports
- Monitor the registration process related to the Travel Policy
- Review and validate runners’ proof of residence and transportation documents
- Analyze runner data and selected routes
- Establish and facilitate an internal validation committee
- Gather feedback and propose improvements for the 2028 edition
- Collaborate with the UTMB Mont-Blanc event organization teams and Athlete Services teams
- Manage CSR reporting and roll out the Sustainability Baseline across UTMB World Series events
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a four- or five-year higher education degree in sustainability/CSR or project management
- Fluent in French and English
- Excellent command of French and English required; additional languages are a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- One-year work-study contract
- CSR reporting, tracking, and updating of KPIs
- Coordination and facilitation of multiple stakeholders
- Development and deployment of educational materials
- Previous project-based experience is a plus
- Proven proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work with a diverse range of international stakeholders
- Strong written communication skills
- Rigorous, reliable, and well organized
- Ability to manage and stay engaged with multiple topics simultaneously
- Team-oriented and able to work independently
- Strong interest in sustainability and CSR topics
