About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop marketing materials
  • Manage the website and social media
  • Create program literature
  • Evaluate the success metrics of the organization's programs and communications outreach
  • Research organizational fundraising opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Development and Communications Manager and Chief Operating Officer
  • Participate in CIC education programs and stakeholder engagement
  • Write, tell stories, interview, design marketing materials, and adapt messages for different audiences
  • Research businesses and collect information
  • Support fundraising strategies and community impact measurement
  • Work a consistent schedule of 8 hours per week, with a maximum of 10 hours per week
  • Work in the office at least 1 day per week
  • Attend shifts, meetings, and programs as needed
