About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and manage a defined sales territory across performance and health verticals
  • Self-generate a sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and marketing-driven inbound opportunities
  • Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations
  • Set up and oversee client trials
  • Work full-cycle sales opportunities in partnership with Contracts and Client Success
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly quota targets based on systems sold
  • Accurately manage pipeline activity using CRM tools
  • Represent VALD at conferences, events, and industry meetings
  • Attend conferences and perform product demonstrations in clinical, performance, and tactical settings
  • Nurture new leads and identify new opportunities
  • Leverage industry expertise and product knowledge to demonstrate the value of VALD systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Applicants must live within 60 minutes of a major airport of Atlanta, GA, Nashville, TN, or Charlotte, NC, and be able to travel around a 5–6 hour radius
  • Candidates outside the territory must be willing to relocate within 30 days of offer/start date
  • Background in Sport Performance S&C, Exercise Science, or similar
  • High School S&C is preferred
  • College S&C is a plus
  • New graduates welcome; preferred candidates have 2+ years of field experience
  • Strong communication skills across in-person, virtual, and written formats
  • Comfort with cold prospecting through drop-ins, calls, and emails
  • Confidence engaging with professionals at all levels
  • Experience using CRM platforms; HubSpot preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools
  • Prior field sales experience counts only when aligned with a clinical background and subscription-based sales models
  • Approximately 50% travel, primarily regional
  • Reliable personal vehicle required
  • Ability to transport and demonstrate VALD equipment, carrying demo equipment up to approximately 77 lb
  • Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm availability, with occasional evenings or weekends
  • Successful completion of acceptable background checks
