About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and report on shuttle operations to ensure safe, efficient, on-time, and excellent passenger transportation service
  • Check vehicle maintenance/inspection status and coordinate pickup and delivery
  • Review and edit schedules in coordination with management
  • Ensure drivers have proper uniforms, vehicles, program logins, and shift instructions
  • Coordinate shuttle cleaners' daily tasks
  • Track vehicle locations using GPS or radio logs
  • Assist passengers with ride requests and shuttle tracking
  • Maintain contact with drivers via two-way radio, phone, or dispatch software
  • Document and research customer complaints
  • Call locations to verify staff are onsite
  • Report traffic delays, accidents, breakdowns, passenger inquiries, and coordinate emergency responses
  • Complete and email daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Review and enter driver hours into payroll and track vehicle maintenance
  • Review driver logs for completeness and accuracy
  • Review vehicle camera footage, track employee safety records, and create performance reports
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Clear speaking voice and strong active listening skills
  • Ability to handle multiple live feeds, calls, and schedule updates simultaneously
  • Familiarity with GPS tracking, dispatch software, scheduling software, vehicle camera systems, and basic office programs
  • Calm decision-making during high-stress situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of the geographical area and mapping programs for efficient routing
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, or high school diploma/equivalent with prior customer service or transportation experience preferred
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
