About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead delivery strategy and operational performance across Germany and Switzerland
- Ensure client engagements meet business, quality, and financial objectives
- Oversee and support Delivery Managers
- Enforce delivery standards and align staffing and capacity planning with business needs
- Partner with Consulting, Practices, Sales, and Finance to drive continuous improvement and client satisfaction
- Define staffing budgets, rolling forecasts, and pay planning
- Define strategic direction for delivery processes and ensure compliance with the Project Management Framework
- Lead transformation initiatives and ensure engagement readiness and delivery standards
- Oversee client engagement scope, risks, responsibilities, and timelines
- Monitor project performance, margins, client satisfaction, governance, and delivery standards
- Own staffing and resource allocation and ensure effective handovers
- Forecast skill demand, allocate resources, adjust budgets, and develop contingency plans
- Manage staffing budgets, financial performance, variances, and commercial documents
- Manage Delivery Managers and foster a high-performance culture
- Support team development, onboarding, recruitment, and certifications
- Act as escalation point for client delivery issues
- Collaborate with Sales to secure deals and ensure delivery alignment
- Analyze client feedback and drive improvements
- Implement delivery-process improvements and contribute to new service offerings and AI innovation
- Promote team learning and stay current on industry trends
- Report to the Head of Delivery EMEA
- Collaborate with Consulting, Sales, Practice, People & Culture, Finance, and other Delivery Directors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven leadership in managing complex delivery teams and functions
- Clear communication and effective stakeholder management
- Sound decision-making under pressure
- Analytical and structured approach
- Performance, quality, and client-success orientation
- Good awareness of AI in the enterprise and how it can drive value for clients
- Exposure to business development activities
- Solid delivery mindset and business-oriented approach
- Confidence engaging with clients to shape solutions and drive impact
- Fluent in German and English
- Additional languages are a plus
- Ability to be based anywhere in Switzerland or Germany
- Requires regular travel to the Berlin, Vevey, and Berne offices
- Atlassian certification/accreditation for self and team
