About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research, identify, and evaluate government, corporate, foundation, and private funding opportunities
- Lead development, writing, and submission of grant proposals, letters of inquiry, applications, progress reports, and supporting documentation
- Manage the end-to-end grants process, including calendars, reporting schedules, compliance requirements, award tracking, records, and correspondence
- Collaborate with leadership, program, finance, and marketing teams to gather grant application and reporting materials
- Support fund development campaigns, fundraising initiatives, sponsorship efforts, and special projects
- Cultivate relationships with donors, grantors, sponsors, and community partners
- Maintain donor, prospect, and grant records in the organization’s CRM
- Track fund development and grant revenue, analyze fundraising metrics, and prepare reports and recommendations
- Produce donor and funder communications, including impact reports, newsletters, social media content, and event collateral
- Contribute to fundraising strategies and donor engagement programs
- Represent the organization in the community and cultivate strategic partnerships, volunteer opportunities, and community alliances
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related field; equivalent experience may be substituted for education
- One year of grant writing and development/fundraising experience
- Previous social services grant writing and fund development experience preferred
