About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain study inventory
- Assist with biospecimen collection and processing
- Support logistics related to clinical trial conduct
- Ensure study kits, investigational devices, and general research supplies are appropriately stocked, organized, and tracked
- Assist with phlebotomy
- Handle and ship specimens
- Perform data entry
- Document research procedures to support protocol compliance and data integrity
- Support the clinical research team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred
- Previous experience in a laboratory, healthcare, or research setting preferred
- Phlebotomy certification or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe, as required by the institution or state regulations
- Familiarity with basic specimen processing, handling, and biosafety protocols preferred
- IATA certification for shipping biological specimens, or willingness to complete training upon hire
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with inventory or specimen tracking systems a plus
