About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create total cost-efficient supply plans covering external spend within assigned projects
  • Ensure execution of supply plans according to project schedules and budgets
  • Estimate costs of fabricated, machined, casted, and other components
  • Administer purchase orders, monitor budgets, and manage invoicing
  • Manage stakeholders and report supply plan status to project management
  • Search for and approve potential suppliers and develop capacity plans
  • Create negotiation strategies, execute supplier negotiations, and create contracts and purchase orders
  • Expedite ongoing orders through periodic supplier visits, identifying challenges, and supporting problem-solving
  • Analyze market prices and manage total cost of ownership for products and services
  • Communicate contract and frame agreement content with key stakeholders
  • Stay updated on category strategies
  • Meet functional KPIs for on-time delivery, quality, and cost competitiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor / Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3~5 years of relevant experience in the relevant field
  • Understanding of engineering basics, including engineering drawing study
  • Proactive mindset
  • Knowledge and interest in reading and understanding drawings
  • Ability to troubleshoot welding issues and find solutions
  • Good communication skills
  • English language, written and spoken, is mandatory
  • Willingness for travelling
