About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support project managers with financial metrics, risk and opportunity assessments, and analyses for business decision-making.
- Control project costs, revenue, cash flow, margins, and progress, including revenue recognition under POC and non-POC methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, including revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS 15.
- Keep project records complete and accurate in the ERP system.
- Analyze incurred costs monthly, identify variances, and monitor cost center expenses.
- Collaborate with project managers on financial matters, such as collections.
- Participate in initiatives to reduce costs and improve project and site performance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Relevant experience in finance or similar activities, with strong analytical skills.
- Knowledge of project management and revenue recognition based on IFRS 15.
- Experience in project cost control is a plus.
- Experience in production and manufacturing operations, as well as working in global, matrixed organizations.
- English proficiency for written and verbal communication.
- Availability to work in Portão, Rio Grande do Sul, or Araucária, Paraná.
- Candidates residing in Araucária and the surrounding region must be available to travel 50% of the time.
