About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop automation system software (PLC/DCS)
- Produce related software engineering documentation
- Complete engineering activities on time and within hourly budget and target cost
- Support mechanical and process engineering teams in solution selection
- Provide software engineering expertise to the sales team
- Support procurement in evaluating suppliers and brands
- Participate in FAT and start-ups
- Participate in commissioning, testing, and equipment start-up
- Contribute to customer performance improvements and continuous technology and process development
- Perform software engineering, testing, commissioning, training, and start-up activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.Sc or M.Sc degree in automation engineering or equivalent experience
- More than five years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with PLC/DCS systems, such as Valmet DNA, Siemens, or Allen-Bradley
- Industry knowledge
- Experience with Eplan/CADS is an additional advantage
- Proficiency in Swedish and English
- Self-driven and collaborative mindset
- Willingness to travel 0-80 days per year
- Background checks and alcohol and drug testing required for all employees
