About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the key finance business partner to APAC operational and manufacturing leadership
Deliver financial insights through analysis, modelling, and recommendations to improve business performance
Prepare and submit significant regional CAPEX requests requiring leadership and corporate approval
Build and maintain a capital management and monitoring program for CAPEX
Prepare regular forecast updates, annual budgets, and long-term strategic plan inputs
Develop processes to improve working capital, notably inventory
Perform financial performance reviews covering operational activity, variances, working capital, and CAPEX
Develop a reporting framework for consistent operational metrics across APAC
Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop countermeasures and action plans
Report to the Director, Finance & Analytics APAC as an individual contributor

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field is typically required
CPA or CA professional certification is highly regarded
Experience as an operations, commercial, or financial analyst
Experience in manufacturing or operational environments
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Passion for process improvement
Ability to work collaboratively across a matrix organisation while managing competing priorities
Proficiency in financial software, databases, and analytical tools
Ability to consolidate, analyze, and report financial and operational metrics accurately and timely
Willingness to undertake occasional travel within the Asia Pacific region
