About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Associate Director of Campus Engagement and Campus Engagement team members
- Support career and admissions partnership programs and initiatives, including Networking Night, Vanderbilt & You admitted student events, Opening Dores student networking events, alumni career webinars, and in-person programming
- Support student-alumni and student giving programming, including Vanderbilt for Life senior series, Seniors Give Back, and Legends Tour
- Coordinate event logistics, volunteer research and tracking, data preparation and maintenance, volunteer management, event support, and administrative needs
- Assist with event preparation, including logistics, reports, collateral, nametags, and vendor communication
- Create email invitations and event registration with the Anchor Events team
- Assist with onsite event setup and execution
- Monitor and manage the LinkedIn Alumni Group and job postings
- Support Career Coaches through webinar scheduling, bio updates, and webinar/event planning
- Conduct volunteer discovery research to activate programming
- Collect and help analyze post-event survey feedback
- Assist with after-action event analysis and continuous innovation
- Assist with data requests, reports, and workflows related to event attendance and campus partnerships
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent, is necessary
- Two years of experience, or the equivalent, is necessary
- Experience working with volunteers is preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and working within timelines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Some evening/weekend work as needed
