About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Vanderbilt research team and the Texas A&M TEES team for project data-sharing activities
  • Participate in monthly data-sharing coordination meetings with the Texas A&M team
  • Coordinate with the Vanderbilt project lead to review data-sharing activities, upcoming requirements, and outstanding action items
  • Facilitate communication of data-sharing needs, timelines, and deliverables between participating teams
  • Track action items and follow up with relevant project personnel
  • Support continuity and consistency in data-sharing activities throughout the ARPA-H project
  • Assist with documentation related to data-sharing activities and project requirements
  • Commit approximately 2 hours per month: 1 hour for Texas A&M TEES coordination meetings and 1 hour for internal coordination with the Vanderbilt project lead
  • Report functionally to the Principal Investigator and administratively to the department Administrative Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, biomedical sciences, bioinformatics, computer science or data science
  • Experience supporting or coordinating research projects in an academic or research environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate activities across multiple research teams and institutions
  • Ability to track project requirements, action items, and deliverables
  • Familiarity with collaborative research projects and scientific data-sharing processes preferred
  • Prior familiarity with the ARPA-H project and its data-sharing activities preferred
