About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the annual operating plan for undergraduate Reunion and Class Agent programs
  • Lead and develop a team of four Associate Directors
  • Manage and engage over 400 volunteers through identification, recruitment, communication, and day-to-day management
  • Design and implement plans to grow annual giving participation through volunteer outreach and peer-to-peer Reunion solicitation
  • Drive engagement, philanthropy, and ambassadorship through the Class Agent program
  • Collaborate with University Ceremonies and Events to plan and execute Reunion and Homecoming
  • Collaborate with MarComm on marketing calendars, print pieces, emails, social media ads, websites, photography, and video
  • Collaborate with Advancement Information Services to improve data reporting and analysis
  • Work with the Development Team to identify, recruit, and solicit volunteers for annual gifts
  • Drive milestone Reunion giving, participation, and the annual giving donor pipeline
  • Identify prospects for referrals to discovery and major gift pipelines
  • Serve as liaison to Professional School partners to coordinate the Reunion experience
  • Set program strategy and vision with the Senior Director of Class and Community Engagement
  • Analyze data and metrics
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor's Degree, or the equivalent, is necessary
  • Five or more years of relevant experience is required
  • Higher education experience required, with a preference for Reunion/Homecoming roles
  • At least two years of supervisory experience is required
  • At least two years’ direct experience managing volunteers
  • Experience managing a complex program with multiple partners and stakeholders
  • Experience leading and developing a team
  • Strong project management skills
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Strong technical skills, including complex email messaging strategies and journeys, CRM, AI, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and judgment when dealing with alumni, parents, friends, and employees
  • Some evening and weekend work required as needed, with advance notice
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record
  • Driving is an essential job function
