About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with assigned faculty on administrative and operational tasks involved in course delivery
  • Create, set up, and deliver Integrated Science Courses in VSTAR, the online learning management system
  • Identify, research, and select facilities for course and program activities through the EMS online classroom management system
  • Provide logistical support for teaching sessions, exams, planning sessions, meetings, workshops, retreats, and faculty development sessions
  • Oversee revisions to course director and student handbooks and resource materials
  • Schedule and assist with annual course evaluations and support quality improvement
  • Assist with documentation for student policies and procedures
  • Help onboard new Immersion Phase faculty
  • Map learning objectives in VSTAR to track topical threads throughout the curriculum
  • Suggest improvements to course and program development in collaboration with OHSE teams
  • Make on-site decisions to resolve issues raised by faculty, students, suppliers, and vendors
  • Serve as point of contact for MD program special projects
  • Prepare ad hoc reports
  • Maintain documentation of program activities for outcome tracking, policy compliance, and accreditation requirements
  • Monitor a shared email inbox and provide timely, professional responses or direction
  • Support other course and program activities as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma is necessary
  • Established computer skills, specifically basic functions of Microsoft Excel, are necessary
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred
  • At least one year of work experience, preferably in an academic or healthcare-related setting, is preferred
  • Experience in program administration and coordination is preferred
  • Experience with a learning management system or other cloud-based or application system (e.g. databases, scheduling platforms) is preferred
  • Demonstrated organizational skills are preferred
