About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a customer-facing support contact throughout the client account lifecycle
- Act as the primary client contact, predominantly for project management
- Identify gaps in project delivery and communicate issues affecting project completion timelines or costs
- Proactively identify and communicate schedule and budget risks
- Present to C-level and executive-level management teams
- Provide clients with ongoing feedback about savings opportunities and best practices
- Deliver timely, detailed, and accurate reporting to internal and external audiences
- Perform and share recurring weekly account updates and status reports
- Enter new, upgrade, downgrade, and disconnect service orders
- Solicit vendor quotes
- Resolve escalated orders and issues
- Create, maintain, track, and report status updates for open orders
- Coordinate with management to ensure timely installation of client circuits
- Schedule and prepare customer activations and service disconnections
- Work closely with internal peers and management and take leadership roles internally and externally
- Address after-hours client-related escalations
- Travel locally or within the United States as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- College Degree
- 1+ years in telecommunications and/or Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and/or Managed Mobility Services (MMS) industries
- Account management experience serving as an extension of a client’s team
- Presentation skills
- Project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple, diverse tasks simultaneously
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications services and networks, including voice, data, mobile, and unified communications
- Microsoft Office competency and fluency in Excel
- Confidence delivering in-person and web meetings with all levels of a client organization
- Experience managing large volumes of data in Excel and application databases
- Ability to navigate wireline and wireless carrier portals
- Knowledge and understanding of telecom services pricing and benchmarking
- General knowledge of business finance
- Ability to review, understand, interpret, and manage carrier contracts
- C-level presentation and interaction skills
- Ability to escalate effectively and manage partner and non-partner vendors
- Effective verbal, written, and email communication with customers, peers, and management
- Ability to diagnose, articulate, and provide solutions for clients’ technical issues
- Ability to facilitate project plans for implementations, installations, and disconnects
- Ability to leverage automation for efficiency and customer benefit
- Ability to utilize Vatic’s Telecom Expense Management Tool
- Ability to articulate Vatic’s product set and company store
- Job contingent upon a background check
- Work authorization/security clearance, if applicable

Comp & perks- Part-time hourly pay during the entry-level training period
- Opportunity to move to a full-time role after 3–6 months upon successful completion of training
- Full-time Monday–Friday schedule with alternative working hours (9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.)
