About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare tranches for submission to funders
  • Review incoming and outgoing payments and financial transactions for accuracy
  • Document new funding tranches into the ledger
  • Manage payments to funders on time
  • Produce monthly compliance reporting
  • Analyze cash flow processes and make suggestions for improvement
  • Support tranche audits and funder audits

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant university degree or college diploma combined with two years of work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, policies and procedures and budgeting methods
  • Detail orientated, with excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Ability to produce and manage daily management reporting requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Energetic team player with ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Great Plains would be an asset
