About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the Pulsar team alongside three other data scientists
- Improve the accuracy of pricing and forecasting models
- Work on cross-functional features, including product attributes and brand and product representations
- Explore, develop prototypes, and compare different advanced modeling approaches
- Collaborate closely with the Forecasting and Pricing teams
- Evaluate work using clear KPIs through rigorous offline assessments on large datasets
- Deploy high-performing models to a cloud-based MLOps environment using Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow, MLflow, and GitLab
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree in Data Science
- Strong Python skills
- Proficiency in SQL
- Good understanding of machine learning, including ML evaluation, classification, regression, and related concepts
- Interest in software engineering best practices
- A plus: knowledge of dbt, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Excellent communication skills in French and English
- Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems
- Self-directed, curious, and motivated to put solutions into production
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and scientific approaches
