About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure system reliability and scalability by applying DevOps practices
Maintain and develop the Kubernetes cloud solution
Implement tools and processes for deployment and industrialization, including CI/CD, blue/green, canary, and rollback
Automate provisioning of resilient infrastructure that meets product needs
Work with development teams to facilitate regular releases
Maintain services in operational conditions and analyze and resolve performance and scalability anomalies, including load tests of current and historical deployments
Supervise the application portfolio in collaboration with the Network Operations Center (NOC)
Manage access and security
Participate in the evolution of the information system and reduction of technical debt
Evangelize DevOps best practices and help build a transversal SRE community within Veepee
Participate in the transversal SRE community while integrating an agile product team
Contribute to the Foundation Domain responsible for on-premise infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years of experience in a similar function
Experience with high-availability production environments & on-call
Knowledge of industrialization processes, agile methods, gitflow and DevOps practices in general and understanding of a system side
Familiar with Linux (good knowledge)
Proficiency with IaC: Packer, Terraform, Ansible
SUP: Alerta, ELK, Prometheus, K8S Operators
Hands on with Docker, Kubernetes On Premise ( Kubernetes the hard way)
Proficiency with different types of DB such as, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, ElasticSearch
You have strong verbal and written English language skills
CI/CD: Gitlab, ArgoCD
Others: Consul, Vault
