About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as clients’ first touchpoint with Vega
  • Act as a credible counterpart to senior people at multi-billion-dollar managers
  • Work directly with the Head of Strategy and Growth and the CEO to find angles and drive deals from start to close
  • Own top-of-funnel pipeline generation, including targeting, outbound, qualification, and building supporting systems
  • Build the commercial playbook by turning learnings into a repeatable team discipline
  • Support growth initiatives involving events, partnerships, content, and marketing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years in investor relations, finance, MBB, or a commercial/operational role at a fast-paced startup
  • Experience in private markets, particularly around investor relations workflows, is a strong plus
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Analytical instincts
  • Genuine tolerance for repetition and rejection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High standard for output and attention to detail
  • Creativity and a bias to action
  • Legal right to work in the UK
