Key responsibilities & impact

Own Veho’s central operating model for ground operations across markets, warehouses, and 3PL partners
Define high-performing market standards and build the performance management system
Establish KPI frameworks, targets, measurement processes, and operating cadence
Run daily standups, weekly OTD reviews, and monthly network health reviews
Build clean, reliable, actionable reporting infrastructure
Define SOPs, staffing standards, warehouse operating procedures, and 3PL management protocols
Drive adoption and continuous evolution of operational standards
Own change management for standards changes at scale
Build analytics capabilities, dashboards, reporting tools, and self-serve data access
Centrally forecast key operational functions such as labor planning
Lead a structured continuous improvement program, root-cause recurring failures, and drive structural fixes
Track continuous improvement initiatives with owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes
Build a continuous improvement culture in field operations
Connect ground operations with the product team by translating operational data and field pain points into prioritized product input
Own operational readiness for product launches, including training, process updates, and network preparation
Establish standardized post-launch reviews and corrective actions
Lead planning and execution for new market launches, warehouse moves, and peak expansion sites
Manage launch timeline dependencies and resource allocation
Embed launch procedures into the standards library
Own prioritization during high-tempo expansion periods

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years in operations, strategy & operations, or business operations
Meaningful experience in a central or center-of-excellence function
Proven track record building performance management systems, operating cadences, or standards functions for a distributed operations network
Direct experience owning or building analytics infrastructure
Background in logistics, fulfillment, last-mile delivery, or a similarly physical, high-volume environment
Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives across operations, product, and finance simultaneously
Strong AI building capabilities to build supporting tooling and reporting
Comfortable with SQL and BI tools
Deeply analytical and able to build a KPI framework from scratch
Experience at a tech-enabled operator at scale plus experience at a high-growth, venture-backed company is a differentiator
Experience building and leading a small central team from scratch is a differentiator
