About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build systems and applications powering Veho's Ground Operations
Develop mobile tools used by warehouse teams, including the Facilities Mobile App and Warehouse Management System
Design, build, test, and deploy end-to-end features from React Native screens through backend APIs and services
Own the technical direction of mobile surfaces, including native modules, device and hardware integrations, release processes, and app performance
Integrate scanners, printers, and other third-party hardware and SDKs
Contribute to architecture and technical design for complex distributed systems
Write maintainable, well-tested code for high-traffic production environments
Participate in and lead peer code reviews
Partner with Operations stakeholders to understand warehouse workflows and translate them into technical solutions
Improve observability, monitoring, and reliability for field-device issues
Mentor engineers and grow mobile expertise across the team
Collaborate with Product, Design, Operations, and Data teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of experience building, testing, and deploying applications in high-traffic production environments
Strong full-stack experience with TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and React
Deep, hands-on experience with React Native and Android in production
Experience developing custom React Native native modules
Experience integrating with third-party hardware and SDKs, such as barcode scanners, label printers, and rugged handheld devices
Experience designing and consuming APIs and working within distributed systems
Experience working in AWS or similar cloud environments
Supply Chain or logistics domain experience preferred
Strong debugging, problem-solving, systems thinking, and on-device debugging skills
Ability to move quickly and ship iteratively
Ability to collaborate closely with Product and Operations teams
