About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute the North Europe Marketing plan end-to-end, with a particular focus on the local GB&I market.
  • Deliver brand activation toward B2C audiences across North Europe, strongly focused on the GB market.
  • Develop media plans, creative briefs and strategic partnerships.
  • Attend shoots, case productions and creative shoots to ensure impactful delivery.
  • Use consumer, market and category insights to improve briefs, creative and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with local market media, product, CXU, PR and Social Media teams on integrated campaigns.
  • Manage external agency partners to deliver quality work on time and on budget.
  • Complement agency work with in-house production.
  • Manage budgets across multiple markets.
  • Act as a senior voice, sharing expertise and supporting teammates without direct line management.
  • Navigate local, regional and global stakeholders in an international matrix.
  • Evaluate activities against marketing KPIs and share learnings and best practices across markets.
  • Report to the Head of Communications based in the Denmark office.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least ten years of experience in marketing and communications.
  • Proven track record of delivering B2C campaigns and brand activation at scale.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing plans across multiple markets.
  • Comfortable working with insights and data to inform decisions and measuring impact through relevant KPIs.
  • Ability to partner with a global Insights team and turn findings into actionable marketing decisions.
  • Sharp sense for creative work and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with creative tools such as Canva.
  • Excellent proofreading skills in English.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence across seniority levels.
  • Proactive problem-solving and initiative.
  • Ability to thrive in cross-cultural, cross-functional environments.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools.
  • Fluent English; additional North European languages are a plus.
  • Able to be based in the Glenrothes office an average of 3 days per week.
  • Available to travel on average 2–3 days per month, primarily across the UK, Denmark and Germany.
  • For internal applicants, a minimum of 1 year of tenure within the VELUX Group is required.
