About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join a currently four-person team
- Build digital twins of power grids in Venios.Net for customers
- Design and take responsibility for functional and technical architectures
- Integrate data sources and systems such as GIS, SCADA, metering systems, asset data, and weather and forecasting data
- Validate supplied data
- Work closely with project management, product management, development, DevOps, and customers
- Act as a technical sparring partner
- Support the implementation team with pilots and rollouts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed degree in a STEM field, preferably Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Electrical Engineering, or Physics
- Several years of programming experience, preferably in high-level languages such as C#
- Several years of experience as a Data Integrator, System Integrator, or in a comparable role
- Experience with complex data models, integration architectures, and APIs
- Ideally, knowledge of the energy or smart-grid sector, such as distribution grids, grid models, and grid operations
- Familiarity with power-grid structures and geographic information systems is a plus
- Strong understanding of IT architectures, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and data architectures
- Very good German and English language skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex relationships clearly
- Residence in, or a valid work permit for, Germany or Austria
