About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate fixed and mobile plant equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Process waste materials through various treatment methods and technologies
- Contribute to safety initiatives
- Help develop operational procedures
- Maintain work areas to high cleanliness and safety standards
- Support Veolia’s ecological transformation and environmental solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current forklift licence
- Mechanical experience with process pumps, valves, fittings & pipework (desirable)
- SCADA experience (desirable)
- Waste industry experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Safety conscious mindset
- Must be prepared to undertake a full pre-employment medical check including drug and alcohol screening
- Must be willing to undergo a National Police Clearance
- Ability to operate fixed and mobile plant equipment safely and efficiently
