About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Service, maintain and repair plant equipment and fleet vehicles in a timely manner
  • Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor or Leading Hand
  • Record and monitor stock and part levels and advise of discrepancies
  • Service and maintain Veolia’s commercial waste vehicles, plant and equipment within the workshop

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven mechanical knowledge / experience within the automotive repair industry
  • HR licence
  • Forklift ticket is desirable
  • Willingness to undertake a full pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol screening
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance
  • Willingness to work Monday–Friday, 12:30pm–9:00pm, with weekday overtime as required
