About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Schedule, coordinate, and monitor waste collection pantechs
- Review route performance to identify optimisation and improvement opportunities
- Meet service delivery KPIs
- Communicate with drivers and customers
- Ensure paperwork and runsheets are correct and accurate
- Respond to customer issues of immediate operational concern with a solutions focus
- Respond to operational queries raised by the Customer Services Team, Sales Team, or customers
- Conduct daily end-of-shift driver debrief meetings
- Discuss run efficiencies and capture incidents or compliance issues
- Manage driver scheduling, route planning, and run generation
- Provide support and assistance to stakeholders and drivers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in Waste Management, Transport, Logistics, or Service Industries
- Proven track record in scheduling, allocations, and planning
- Solid understanding of heavy vehicle transport regulations
- Strong leadership abilities to inspire and motivate your team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities to resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Intermediate computer proficiency with expertise in Excel, Google Suite, and Salesforce
- Unwavering focus on health and safety standards and practices
- Shortlisted candidates must be prepared to undertake a full pre-employment medical check including drug and alcohol screening
