About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver on-site service, chemical treatment analysis, monitoring, and account management to existing customers
- Provide Legionella control services and ensure compliance with ACOP L8
- Recommend best working practices and operational efficiency improvements
- Manage accounts in line with budgets and attend client review meetings
- Initiate water treatment programs for new accounts
- Commission dosing/control installations
- Train site operators on Hydrex products and Legionella awareness
- Compile, maintain, and audit site log books
- Complete risk assessments, work reports, and documentation
- Provide feedback on product performance and contribute to future product development
- Identify opportunities to quote for parts, consumables, plant upgrades, and refurbishment work
- Communicate progress, issues, and risks to line management
- Collaborate with appropriate sales teams
- Observe and enforce company and client Health & Safety and personnel policies
- Undertake other reasonable work-related tasks requested by senior management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry qualification (desirable)
- Practical knowledge and experience of chemical water treatment, company products, applications, and water treatment markets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to liaise professionally with clients and internal teams
- Punctual, professional, and customer-focused
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role
- Existing right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 37 hours
