About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end test planning, test design, execution, and release validation for assigned applications
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify risks, gaps, and test scenarios
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing across multiple applications and releases
- Validate complex integrations between Salesforce and connected systems including Boomi, Zuora, and Kantata
- Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API test scripts
- Expand automated regression coverage and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot test failures and continuously improve automation standards, frameworks, and testing processes
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and validate issue resolution
- Ensure defects are resolved before release and drive overall product quality
- Serve as the day-to-day QA contact for US-based business analysts, developers, and stakeholders
- Provide testing status updates, quality metrics, automation coverage reports, and release readiness recommendations
- Mentor and guide Associate QA Engineers
- Promote quality engineering best practices and advocate for early QA involvement throughout the development lifecycle
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably supporting enterprise SaaS applications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test solutions used in production environments
- Experience with automation frameworks or tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Provar, or Copado Robotic Testing
- Proficiency in at least one programming language used for automation, such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
- Experience with API testing and automation using tools such as Postman, Newman, REST Assured, or similar
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and quality assurance best practices
- Working knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques
- Experience testing CRM platforms such as Salesforce or other enterprise business systems
- Experience using Jira and test management tools such as Xray or Zephyr
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams and maintain overlap with US business hours
- Preferred: Experience with Salesforce-specific testing and automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, integrations/middleware/data flows, Kantata, Gainsight, Outreach, SFMC, LEAH, or Zuora
- Preferred: ISTQB Foundation Level, Test Automation Engineer, or similar QA certification
- Preferred: Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries
- Preferred: Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps delivery practices
