About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product strategy, roadmap, lifecycle management, and commercial success of the Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) portfolio globally
- Establish strategic vision for product lines to drive growth and profitability
- Develop one- and three-year vision, business cases, high-level use cases/requirements, and revenue plans
- Analyze competitors, products, strategies, positioning, and plans
- Own sales growth and P&L for equipment, supplies, and parts in collaboration with regional leaders
- Develop sales enablement materials and tools, including fight sheets, value-selling documents, ROI/TCO tools, and solution guides
- Develop global product launch plans and internal support materials
- Review and approve marketing materials and develop target customer segments and demand-generation campaigns
- Visit the point of impact/field to understand customer, competitor, and market dynamics
- Lead activities addressing bugs, updates, upgrades, and enhancements through completion
- Collaborate with engineering, production, marketing, and sales on product development, QA, and releases
- Balance resources to ensure organizational success
- Report to the Sr. Director of Business Unit Management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Relevant field commercial experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in product management or a related role
- Track record of successfully delivering successful new product launches
- Experience in a senior product role at a director’s level working with a technical product is preferred
- Strong understanding of the marking and coding market, industry trends, and user experiences
- Strong expertise in market research tools and techniques
- Proficiency in creating product vision and leading cross-team collaboration across engineering and commercial organizations
