About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure infrastructure across the site or collection of sites is performing to standard
Provide local on-site support for availability management and global/regional project implementation activity
Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support local, remote, and cloud-based infrastructure
Support servers, workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones, meeting room equipment, LAN, Wi-Fi, and telecommunications equipment
Diagnose and resolve issues with end-user application software, multi-user applications, and operating systems
Support and maintain Azure environments and administrative portals, including EntraID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams/Teams Phones, Exchange, and Purview
Support and maintain VMware virtual hypervisor environments
Support and maintain Veeam and Datto backup, restore, and disaster recovery environments
Perform local hands-and-eyes systems operations, including backup management, supervised server restarts, LAN patching, and cabinet management
Contribute to project teams improving existing BIS services and delivering new BIS services
Perform other duties within the employee’s skills and abilities when reasonably instructed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with 3–5 years of relevant IT experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
Experience with Windows Desktop Operating systems
Experience with Microsoft Azure and AD
Experience with Veeam Backup and Recovery
Experience with VMware Virtual Server environments
Experience with Microsoft EntraID, Intune, Teams and Teams Phone, Exchange, SharePoint, and mobile technology (iPhone/Android)
Working knowledge of desktop, laptop, server, and printer hardware dependencies and relationships of networks, phones, mobile devices, PC operating systems, databases, and applications
Recognized IT qualification or significant IT experience preferred
Experience working in a Pharmaceutical GxP regulated environment preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States without further employer sponsorship
