About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Software Factory.
- Define the workflow model for classification, analysis, implementation, and review, including human handoffs.
- Own the trust and quality bar, including evals, verification, retry behavior, and human-approval boundaries.
- Define integrations with GitHub, Linear, Codex, and Claude Code, plus dedicated interfaces for factory agents.
- Shape the memory and context model for repository knowledge accumulation.
- Work directly with design partners and Enterprise customers adopting factories for their codebases.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You've worked on developer tooling products, ideally CI/CD, code review, developer productivity, or AI coding tools.
- You have deep hands-on experience with coding agents and a substantiated point of view on where they succeed and where they fail today.
- You have the technical depth to reason about agent orchestration, evals, context management, and sandboxed execution.
- You have owned a platform area that other product teams build on, and set technical direction others adopted.
- You have experience with products whose output is probabilistic, including defining acceptance bars and measuring quality over time.
- You have experience working directly with design partners or Enterprise customers on adopting new engineering workflows.
