About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, engineering studies, and project designs
  • Assist in developing probable construction cost estimates for projects within the department
  • Prepare designs and plans under close supervision using computer-aided design and engineering software packages or conventional methods
  • Prepare design computations and quantity estimates under the direction of an experienced designer
  • Perform occasional drafting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering program from an accredited university or college
  • Ability to operate a computer and basic computer software
  • Revit knowledge or experience
  • Previous AutoCAD experience is a plus
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Work visas and PERM applications are not supported in this role
