About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage environmental projects from scoping through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance
- Oversee and conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Direct soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, and stormwater sampling
- Prepare technical reports, permits, and regulatory approvals
- Serve as a key client contact and mentor junior staff
- Support business development and proposal efforts
- Provide regulatory-facing expertise and leadership informed by Ohio EPA supervisory experience
- Lead environmental sampling and compliance-driven project work
- Provide mentorship, staff supervision, and project/program oversight
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of environmental consulting experience
- 2+ years of project management experience
- Knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, Ohio VAP, and BUSTR
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER preferred
