About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage multiple concurrent projects delivering Verizon Private Networks and MEC solutions
Oversee solution design, implementation, handoff to support, governance, financial tracking and analysis
Manage partner contracting and relationships
Apply, develop, and improve project management processes, methodologies, and artifacts
Lead cross-functional teams across Verizon Enterprise, Verizon Wireless, IBV Radio Frequency, Regulatory and Construction, and GNT
Ensure high-quality delivery of PWN and MEC deployments
Serve as the customer’s single point of contact for all project communications
Develop project objectives, work breakdown structures, schedules, quality acceptance procedures, and project plans
Track and evaluate implementation schedules, manage change control, coordinate participating organizations, issue project reports, and implement project controls
Oversee installation, including equipment and backhaul ordering, RF engineering, infrastructure readiness, construction, installation, turn-up, delivery to ongoing support, and equipment and services invoicing
Complete project close-out and obtain customer agreement of close-out

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
Six or more years of experience managing technical infrastructure programs and projects
Industry project management certification such as PMP or CAPM
Strong experience leading complex and concurrent endeavors
Experience within Cellular Technology, Radio Frequency, Regulatory and Construction
Experience with Smartsheets and Google Docs
Technical industry certifications such as CCNA or JNCIA
Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies such as IoT, SDN, and NFV
Ability to influence others and collaborate with various stakeholders
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work with a sense of urgency and under extreme time constraints
Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver against critical deadlines
Ability to take high-level direction and proactively move projects or initiatives from start to finish with minimal assistance
