About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Fiber Engineering and Operations Field operations teams to drive operational efficiency and cost savings through process improvement and automation
- Lead workforce focused on field operations performance assurance, new technology integration and launch, Transformation Office projects, and PMO oversight
- Align strategy with senior leadership and cross-functional organizations and ensure execution across multiple large-scale projects
- Identify business gaps, map processes, and design technical solutions
- Build program roadmaps, including AI initiatives, and size, scope, and deliver business benefits
- Transform data into insights and recommendations to improve customer and employee experiences
- Manage budgets and perform accurate financial forecasting
- Deliver and account for cost savings through business transformation
- Track project progress against savings targets and business value
- Establish PMO governance aligned with business strategy
- Translate technical milestones and sprint data into business-focused reports and presentations for senior management
- Lead cross-functional stakeholder teams implementing strategic enterprise-wide programs
- Evaluate complex business cases and models using VLSS tools and methodologies
- Provide fact-based recommendations to senior management in complex and ambiguous environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to prioritize initiatives and develop strategic roadmaps
- Present recommendations and updates to executive leadership in person and virtually
- Drive continuous improvement using current industry knowledge and technical project/program delivery methods
- Partner with Finance and Accounting on capital and expense targets
- Align funding and target deliverables with senior leadership
- Oversee partnerships with external business consultants
- Partner with Sourcing to align contract scope with business strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
- Eight or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
- Four or more years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Six or more years of project management experience
- Lean Six Sigma experience
- Three or more years of G-Suite proficiency
- Three or more years of experience creating and presenting executive-level presentations
- Experience managing people and fostering team growth
- Experience managing strategic partnerships
- Willingness to travel
- Master’s degree preferred
- Project management credentials preferred
- Experience with AI and AI project development preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
- Four or more years of Field Operations leadership experience preferred
- Data management, architecture, analysis, and agile development experience preferred
- Experience in communications or communications strategy preferred
- Experience working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment preferred
- Strong leadership skills and ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Experience managing a team preferred
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills preferred
