About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as strategic architect of the intelligence engine powering Verizon’s Home & Emerging Growth portfolio
  • Own end-to-end translation of macro market dynamics into hyper-localized, actionable go-to-market strategies
  • Lead evolution of yield management capabilities
  • Monitor pricing shifts, regional promotions, and rival footprints and translate external tracking data into actionable insights
  • Optimize offer constructs, dynamic pricing models, and converged product margins across hyper-local geographies
  • Identify evolving customer preferences and competitive density to keep commercial tactics customer-back
  • Architect intelligence feeds powering Performance Management and informing the Test and Learn sub-team
  • Provide localized data to uncover volume and revenue opportunities
  • Mentor and scale a team of strategic data translators and yield analysts
  • Translate external dynamics into foundational data blocks supporting value propositions, offer constructs, and GTM strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in business intelligence, commercial strategy, financial modeling, yield management, or pricing strategy
  • Five or more years of experience directly managing and scaling diverse analytical and strategic teams
  • Exceptional financial acumen with deep understanding of fixed broadband, telecom, or subscription-based business models, focusing on yield optimization, ARPU, LTV, and CAC
  • Proven track record translating complex external competitive data into high-visibility executive narratives and GTM action plans
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is an even-better qualification
  • Master’s degree or MBA in Business Administration, Finance, Quantitative Economics, or an adjacent field is an even-better qualification
  • Extensive experience leveraging enterprise data environments such as Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with Alteryx, ArcGIS, or Tableau
  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy within Technology, Media, or Telecom sectors
