About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own Verizon Connect’s channel strategy across OEM, Reseller, Strategic Partner, and Verizon ecosystem routes to market
- Develop channel go-to-market strategy, priorities, coverage model, and investment plan
- Establish partner segmentation and determine which partnerships to build, scale, maintain, or exit
- Develop scalable channel motions that complement direct sales and expand addressable market
- Identify routes to market and partnerships that accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth
- Develop and manage strategic OEM relationships and joint business plans
- Coordinate OEM integrations and commercial programs to produce customer and revenue outcomes
- Build and scale the reseller strategy and partner ecosystem
- Establish partner tiers, requirements, incentives, enablement, and performance expectations
- Recruit, onboard, activate, manage, and develop resellers
- Improve reseller productivity through training, sales enablement, marketing support, pricing guidance, and joint account planning
- Leverage the Verizon enterprise, business, retail, and partner ecosystem to create Verizon Connect opportunities
- Develop referral, resale, and co-selling motions with Verizon sales and partner leaders
- Own channel revenue, pipeline, forecast, and performance reporting
- Establish KPIs, operating cadence, partner scorecards, and performance reviews
- Hold partners accountable to business plans and commercial commitments
- Partner with Finance on revenue attribution and channel economics
- Build executive relationships with strategic partners and serve as a senior escalation point
- Create partner enablement programs and value propositions
- Lead through influence across Verizon Connect and the broader Verizon organization
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations
- Ensure channel priorities are represented in executive leadership discussions and business planning
- Build the Verizon Connect channel into a scalable, measurable growth engine
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in channel management, indirect sales, partnerships, business development, sales leadership, or a related commercial function
- Demonstrated success building and scaling partner ecosystems
- Experience with OEMs, resellers, distributors, strategic alliances, or technology partnerships
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS, IoT, connected vehicle, fleet, telematics, mobility, or adjacent technology markets preferred
- Proven ability to drive revenue through indirect channels
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Ability to build relationships at the executive level
- Strong understanding of GTM strategy, sales operations, pipeline management, and forecasting
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a complex, matrixed organization
- Strong communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Ability to work a scheduled 40-hour week
