About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the PMO team on the Portfolio Management team within Verizon Business Product Organization
  • Develop and execute strategic programs for Global Enterprise, Business Markets, Public Sector, and Wholesale segments
  • Identify, prioritize, structure, and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Orchestrate holistic portfolio management and create recurring tools and sources for real-time insights and decision points
  • Work with executive leadership and partner organizations including Strategy, Finance, Network, IT, Technology Solutions, Marketing, and Sales
  • Develop and execute strategic programs for innovative product solutions and related initiatives
  • Drive fact-based recommendations and solutions for senior and executive management
  • Create and maintain executive-level presentations and governance programs for strategy, transformation, operational initiatives, business cases, capital, and go-to-market plans
  • Develop executive communications for product strategy and revenue generation plans
  • Prioritize business improvement initiatives based on customer, stakeholder, and employee feedback
  • Manage cross-tower organizational projects and action registers; coordinate resources to achieve project goals
  • Gather and analyze data for regular and ad hoc requests, including executive-level escalations
  • Build collaborative relationships with executive-level staff
  • Expand Portfolio Management knowledge, insights, and holistic orchestration to influence portfolio decisions, outcomes, and strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Ten or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
  • Experience with Program and/or Project management
  • Experience researching, synthesizing, and generating insights through data, collaboration, and technology tools
  • Willingness to travel when applicable
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team
  • Business Products Lifecycle Management experience
  • Financial acumen
  • Experience with AI Platform and Solution Building using tools such as Claude and Kairos
  • BI & Reporting experience
  • Experience pioneering new frontiers and bringing vision to reality
  • Expert communication skills
