About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and execute VBG Wireline transformation and innovation across assisted sales quoting, ordering, customer hierarchy, contract lifecycle management, pricing, and service assurance agentic platforms
Partner cross-functionally with IT and business units to establish goals, objectives, VBG vision, and strategy
Lead product enablement and business alignment across Advanced Communications, Network, IoT, Customer Premise Equipment, Security Services, and Consulting Services portfolios
Architect and operationalize GenAI-powered agents, LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks as digital employees for quoting, ordering, orchestration, inventory, and service assurance
Build and scale data analytics and streaming pipelines across AWS and GCP for real-time transactions across CPQ systems
Translate complex products, customer RFPs, and migrations into scalable, production-grade AI solutions
Establish end-to-end MLOps/LLMOps practices, model monitoring, fine-tuning, security guardrails, and automated CI/CD pipelines
Analyze and map enterprise processes to define logic, constraints, and operational boundaries for agents on the Kairos platform
Lead stakeholder reviews, validate feature alignment, capture feedback, and refine system specifications
Manage software delivery with onshore and offshore teams and IT vendors using DevOps methodologies and agile sprints
Report to the Sr. Director of Verizon Business GTS Sales and Ordering

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or six or more years of work experience
6+ years of technology leadership, including technology selection, architecture, and full stack implementation
8+ years of Software Engineering and Development experience, including leading IT teams through technology transformation, business analysis and strategic execution
10+ years of delivery experience in highly available and massively scalable systems and services
8+ years of relevant experience in Application development, AI/ML engineering, software architecture, and real-time data analytics
Experience with Generative AI concepts, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic multi-agent orchestration frameworks
Experience building, deploying, and scaling data analytics and AI solutions across AWS and GCP
Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field is preferred
Experience with AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, BigQuery, and LangChain
Understanding of B2B products, 4G/5G network protocols, and CPQ products such as Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, and Conga
Strong production coding capabilities with Python, SQL, Kafka, Spark, and microservice architectures for real-time streaming telemetry
Experience implementing MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, security guardrails, and model evaluation standards for autonomous systems
