About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver technical support for network service issues, optimization, maintenance, and network transformation
  • Oversee field execution, wireless network testing, and parameter tuning across multi-vendor 5G and LTE networks
  • Analyze and optimize network Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex data and network performance issues
  • Leverage AI platforms and tools to improve efficiency
  • Perform field drive/walk testing and post-process and analyze logs
  • Analyze Layer 3 drive-test data and develop optimization strategies
  • Conduct indoor RF coverage assessments using scanner data
  • Evaluate PCI pollution, RSRP, and SINR and diagnose coverage or interference gaps
  • Manage customer eFEMTO deployments and diagnose in-building system issues
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve customer complaints
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize network applications and systems
  • Evaluate service performance trends and network coverage gaps
  • Formulate recommendations to enhance coverage
  • Drive problem-tracking tickets across systems
  • Continuously refine operational workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience
  • One year of work experience in IT or Networking
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • Verbal and written communication abilities for technical presentations
  • Two or more years of hands-on technical experience in RF testing, network optimization, and wireless deployment
  • Familiarity with passive and active RF components, including splitters, couplers, antennas, and bi-directional amplifiers (BDAs)
  • Understanding of Nokia and Samsung in-building, macro, and small-cell solutions
  • Experience with field testing tools and post-processing applications including Actix, TEMS, XCAL, XCAP, JDSU, WindCatcher, TrueCall, xLPT, IRIS, and Optis Analyzer
  • Familiarity with Atoll, IBWave, MapInfo Professional, and Google Earth Pro
  • Skill in tuning and validating propagation models against walk/drive test performance data
