About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, optimize, and deploy state-of-the-art agentic AI/ML models and systems within the Verizon Consumer Group AI team
  • Implement next-generation customer success, sales, and digital agent solutions
  • Develop, test, and scale agentic AI/ML solutions, specialized workflows, and LLM-powered systems
  • Integrate AI agent frameworks with customer success, digital, and retail channel technologies
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams on production-grade technical roadmaps
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design sessions, and red-teaming exercises
  • Optimize model inference pipelines, API endpoints, and data integration layers
  • Conduct technical research and rapid prototyping of emerging AI frameworks
  • Document technical specifications and create materials showcasing pilot performance results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
  • One or more years of hands-on experience building, tuning, or integrating AI/ML models and LLM applications
  • Experience within Agile software development methodologies
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Experience developing end-to-end AI agents and RAG architectures using orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or Google ADK preferred
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, API design, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI integrations and performance management platforms such as Verint preferred
  • Strong prioritization skills and experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments preferred
