About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect complex wireless solutions for enterprise and public sector customers
Provide senior subject-matter expertise and technical design authority across macro networks, IoT, and Fixed Wireless Access using 5G Standalone and Network Slicing
Integrate Verizon wireless offerings with Managed DNS, SD-WAN, SASE, and other Network as a Service components
Partner with sales and enterprise clients on complex and transformational engagements
Design 5G connectivity solutions incorporating private core, edge compute, and Mobile Private Networks
Lead proofs of concept, customer demonstrations, feature validation trials, and First Office Application testing
Build manageable end-to-end client architectures using enterprise wireless OAM/CPE platforms
Align technically with NaaS, SD-WAN, MNS, SASE, MSS, and CPE product teams
Integrate AI/AIOps capabilities into field operations and site workflows
Own technical sales-cycle activities including requirements gathering, reference architecture creation, quote validation, and technical presentations
Ensure solutions align with operational SLAs, security, compliance, and industry standards
Advise customer executives and bridge customer requirements, product development, and field implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
Six or more years of relevant work experience in network architecture, technical pre-sales, or wireless systems engineering
Hands-on experience with GenAI tools, operational integration, and prompt engineering
In-depth knowledge of LTE/5G RAN and Core technologies, RF design principles, system performance tuning, and 3GPP standards
Experience with network automation tools, REST APIs, and platform integration
Exposure to large-scale enterprise WLAN/Wi-Fi design, SD-WAN, and SASE frameworks
Track record in telecommunications or managed network services
Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience delivering complex technical presentations to executive stakeholders
Ability to analyze complex data sets, solve technical hurdles, and influence technology roadmaps
Business acumen, sense of urgency, and ability to manage multiple high-priority engagements concurrently
