About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Craft end-to-end enterprise wireline and wireless solutions for major business customers
- Collaborate with senior IT and business executives to understand customer challenges, goals, and environment
- Support the capture of new business opportunities
- Architect solutions and coordinate internal resources
- Design solution and service packages aligned with customer needs
- Write proposals and support the contracting process, ensuring technical, legal, and compliance requirements are satisfied
- Incorporate internal and third-party suppliers as appropriate
- Ensure proposed solution feasibility with delivery and product teams
- Build and communicate value propositions with client executives and key partners
- Act as a trusted business partner and advisor to customer technology leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
- Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
- Experience selling, designing, or consulting on technical enterprise business solutions
- Executive presence and ability to engage directly with customer CTOs and senior technology leadership as a trusted advisor
- Ability to use data and analytics to inform recommendations, validate solution designs, and build defensible business cases
- Ability to use narrative, outcome-based storytelling to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical executive audiences
- Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or another technical discipline preferred
- Experience designing IT and/or managing telecommunications solutions preferred
- Experience proposing, selling, and/or implementing large, complex, enterprise-wide technology solutions to Fortune 500 companies preferred
- Big 5 consulting experience preferred
- Experience project managing large-scale, complex, enterprise-wide technology solutions preferred
- Experience building business cases incorporating cost analysis and ROI preferred
- Experience with data and IP services, managed network services, managed security solutions, managed mobility solutions, data center outsourcing, call center technologies, or IT applications management preferred
