Key responsibilities & impact

  • Provide technical expertise and strategic thinking to advance AI/ML capabilities
  • Modernize existing AI applications and build new applications
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers
  • Implement, performance-tune, and scale AI/ML applications
  • Guide planning, configuration, deployment, and operation of cloud solutions
  • Contribute to industrializing data science and AI capabilities across operations
  • Lead model development, feature engineering, model validation, deployment, and model observability
  • Mentor and guide teams delivering AI/ML solutions
  • Participate in internal and external forums promoting innovation and knowledge sharing
  • Present AI/ML solution narratives to executives
  • Rapidly diagnose issues and build scalable systems using modern developer environments, multi-agent orchestration, and internal model provisioning endpoints
  • Prototype agents, diagnose integration hurdles, and deploy fixes using AI-augmented developer tooling
  • Build, configure, and audit local agent orchestrators, tool definitions, and developer environments
  • Support cloud integrations, service endpoint configurations, and API consumption across GCP and internal hybrid infrastructures
  • Investigate, design, test, and implement efficient software solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
  • Experience in Python programming, Git, enterprise systems, open-source tools, and the progression of Gen AI
  • Experience in AI platforms, GCP, and SQL
  • Enterprise Architecture or platform management experience
  • Practical experience benchmarking, quantizing, and routing workloads between API-based frontier models and self-hosted/open-source models
  • Understanding of on-prem GPU inference serving alongside GCP cloud services
  • Knowledge of Development Lifecycle Management, DevOps Automation methods and practices, Post-Production Model Monitoring, and End-to-End Architecture
  • Advanced knowledge of AI/ML engineering concepts and applied practices and methods
  • Experience combining multiple data sources to uncover correlations and causations, build models, and create algorithms
  • Network domain knowledge
