About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate retail sales using cutting-edge technology knowledge and exceptional customer service
- Identify customer needs by creating connections and asking questions
- Present product insights and solution recommendations
- Close sales by fulfilling customer needs with simple, intuitive technology solutions
- Develop through ongoing training and upskilling in merchandising and inventory operations
- Grow the customer base through outbound calls and text messages to current Verizon customers
- Engage with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events
- Work onsite at a defined retail location
- Complete a potential 19-minute assessment during the hiring process
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Openness to pick up additional shifts during peak periods
- Experience working in a commission-based environment (even better)
- Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions (even better)
- Customer service experience (even better)
