About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate retail sales using technology knowledge and exceptional customer service
- Identify customer needs by creating connections and asking questions
- Present product insights and solution recommendations
- Close sales by fulfilling customer needs with intuitive technology solutions
- Complete ongoing training and develop operational skills in merchandising and inventory
- Place outbound calls and send text messages to current Verizon customers
- Engage with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events
- Work 40 scheduled hours weekly
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Openness to pick up additional shifts during peak periods
- Experience working in a commission-based environment preferred
- Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work onsite at a defined location
- Willingness to complete an approximately 19-minute assessment if required
