About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate retail sales using knowledge of cutting-edge technology and customer service
- Learn and uncover customer needs by creating connections and asking questions
- Present product insights and solution recommendations
- Close sales using communication skills and intuitive technology solutions
- Participate in ongoing training and upskilling in merchandising and inventory operations
- Place outbound calls and send text messages to interested current Verizon customers
- Engage with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events
- Work 40 scheduled hours per week
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Openness to pick up additional shifts
- Experience in a commission-based environment preferred
- Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- May be required to complete a 19-minute assessment
- Ability to work onsite at defined worksite locations
