About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate retail sales using cutting-edge technology knowledge and exceptional customer service
- Learn and uncover customer needs by creating connections and asking questions
- Present product insights and solution recommendations
- Close sales with simple and intuitive technology solutions
- Complete ongoing training and develop operational skills in merchandising and inventory
- Place outbound calls and send text messages to interested Verizon customers
- Engage with the community at off-site Verizon-sponsored events
- Work onsite at defined Verizon retail locations
- Work a scheduled 40-hour week
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Openness to pick up additional shifts
- Experience working in a commission-based environment preferred
- Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- May be required to complete an approximately 19-minute assessment
